New Zealand holds a special place as a premier
eco-tourism and outdoor adventure destination. It is also a great place
for a relaxing holiday.
This compact country has a spellbinding landscape of emerald-green
pastures, crystal-clear rivers, primeval rainforests, shimmering lakes,
thermal wonderlands, towering peaks, grinding glaciers and spectacular
fiords.
Long regarded as a "World in Miniature" New Zealand
is second to none in its complete contrast of scenic wonders. Here can
be found the majesty of the Swiss Alps and Glaciers, the grandeur of
the Norwegian Fiords, the beaches and tropical rain forests of the South
Sea Islands and thermal regions as effervescent as Yellowstone National
Park in USA.
The remarkable thing is that all these diverse features
in this truly ‘clean, green and pristine’ country are easily
accessed. Explore the varied landscapes and enjoy an astonishing range
of experiences from a scenic flight over the Southern Alps, a soak in
a thermal spa, an exhilarating jet-boat ride through white water rapids,
a whale watch cruise or a leisurely Kiwi-style meal of crayfish (lobster),
succulent mussels and first-class wine. But, however you choose to spend
your time you'll find that fresh air, magnificent scenery, outdoor activities,
fine food and wine are things that New Zealand has in abundance.
