An island of contrasts. In the north you'll find a rugged coastline and magnificent beaches in the Bay of Islands area. Auckland provides sophistication and a beautiful harbour setting before you reach the central area with its Maori culture, exclusive lodges, thermal springs around Rotorua and the famous Waitomo Caves.
