UK to Auckland.
Depart London Heathrow on a scheduled Air New Zealand flight to Auckland via Los Angeles or Hong Kong. Day 2

Day 3
Arrive Auckland.
Arrival in Auckland is during the late morning. Transfer by airporter bus ($10) to your accommodation where you will be handed your full documentation.
Overnight(1): Auckland Airport - Hotel Grand Chancellor
Day 4
Auckland to Coromandel (168 kms)
Pick up your motorhome from the depot where you will get a thorough briefing and orientation of the vehicle. The recommended first stop after leaving the depot is the Airport Foodtown where you can stock up with supplies at the airport shopping comlex. Take a leisurely drive to the picturesque town of Coromandel.
Overnight(1): Shelley Beach Top 10 Holiday Park
Day 5
Coromandel to Waihi
Enjoy the natural beauty of the Coromandel. Visit Hot Water Beach and travel to Whangamata on the Coromandel Peninsula, a favorite holiday spot with kiwis.

Day 6
Waihi to Rotorua (218kms)
Travel to Rotorua, spend the afternoon making use of your 5 Star Attraction Pass that allows you to experience 5 of Rotorua's top attractions.
Overnight(1): Rotorua Thermal Holiday Park (this Holiday Park has a great feature of onsite thermal pools that you have the use of)
Day 7
Rotorua Sightseeing & Rotorua to Taupo (80 kms)
Spend the morning enjoying Rotorua and its attractions, then travel to Taupo and overnight in a cabin - giving you the chance to stretch legs outside the motorhome as well as enjoying a soak in the onsite thermal pools.

Day 8
Taupo to Napier (143 kms)
Drive to Napier today to spend time in this unique Art Deco seaside town of Napier.
Overnight(1): Bayview Snapper Holiday Park with a great beachfront location
Day 9
Napier to Wellington (323 kms)
Spend the morning in Napier, perhaps visitng one of the many renowned wineries in the Hawke's Bay area, before continuing to Wellington, New Zealand's capital city.
Overnights(2): Capital City Gateway Motorlodge, close to ferry terminal and the CBD
Day 10
Wellington, at Leisure
A day to explore this attractive city. Perhaps visit the internationally renowned "Te Papa" museum or take the cable car to the top of Mount Victoria and walk back through the glorious botanic gardens.
Day 11
Wellington to Nelson (202 kms)
Take the Interislander ferry crossing this morning from Wellington to Picton, upon arrival in Picton drive to Nelson where you will spend the night.

Day 12
Nelson at Leisure
Explore the idyllic coves and inlets of the Abel Tasman area, visit wineries or just relax.
Day 13
Nelson to Greymouth (290 kms)
Head inland travelling through forests and alongside rivers before driving down the rugged and scenic West Coast to Greymouth. Perhaps stop at Punakaiki to see the dramatic coastal rock formations and famous blow-holes.

Day 14
Greymouth to Franz Josef (177 kms)
Continue your journey down the west coast to Franz Josef. A stop at Hokitika to watch jade being carved into delicate jewellery is worthwhile before arriving in Franz Josef during the afternoon.
Overnights(2): Rain Forest Retreat a unique rainforest setting
Day 15
Franz Josef.
A day to explore the area. Perhaps take a guided walk to the foot of the Franz Josef Glacier, or onto the ice itself. Alternatively, experience a helicopter sightseeing flight over the icefields.
Day 16
Franz Josef to Queenstown (404 kms)
A full day's drive through rain forests, along the coast and then inland over Haast Pass and past lakes to Queenstown. Overnight is at an apartment with good parking, giving you time to stretch your legs and catch up with the laundry!

Day 17
Day in Queenstown
Explore Queenstown and the surrounding area. This exciting town offers a huge host of adventure and activities in one of the most beautiful lakeside setting in the country. Included is entrance to the AJ Hackett Kawarau Bungy centre that enables you to learn the history and further understand the bungy experience with a cinematic experience and preferential position on the viewing platform.
Day 18
Queenstown to Te Anau (170 kms)
Drive to Te Anau during the morning. Perhaps visit the glow-worm caves in the late afternoon, or just relax and enjoy the setting.
Overnights(2): Te Anau Lakeview Holiday Park
Day 19
Milford Sound Day Trip
Leave the motorhome in Te Anau and enjoy the Milford Sound coach and cruise tour. Travel by coach through the Southern Alps and the Homer Tunnel to reach the remote Milford Sound. Cruise the spectacular waters of this fiord before being transferred by coach back to Te Anau in the late afternoon.
Day 20
Te Anau to Dunedin (290 kms)
Head south east to Dunedin. If time permits a visit to the Royal Albatross Centre and Yellow-Eyed Penguin Reserve on the Otago Peninsula is to be recommended.
Overnight(1): At you choice of Dunedin Holiday Park with a central location or Portobello Tourist Park located on the picturesque Otago Peninsula.
Day 21
Dunedin to Christchurch (362 kms)
Drive north to Christchurch and drop your motorhome at depot. Check into your hotel for a relaxing night, with many memories of this great motorhome holiday.
Overnight(1): Christchurch Airport - Sudima Grand Chancellor Hotel
Day 22
Depart Christchurch.
A transfer is included from your hotel to the airport in time to check-in for the afternoon flight to Auckland, where you will connect with your onward Air New Zealand flight via Los Angeles or Hong Kong back to the UK.
