Rotorua 'The Overlander' Train - Tongariro National Park
This morning we travel by coach to Te Kuiti and join 'The Overlander' train for a tour through the heart of the North Island. Travel over the world-renowned Raurimu Spiral. Spend this evening in the World heritage-listed Tongariro National Park. Breakfast & Dinner included

'TranzMetro' Train - Wellington
This morning we head south through Taihape, renowned as the ‘Gumboot Capital’ of New Zealand. Every year a festival is held here which includes competitive gumboot throwing. Continue through the Manawatu Gorge and the Wairarapa region and onward to the small township of Featherston. Here we visit the Fell Locomotive Museum and then board the 'TranzMetro' train for our short but scenic journey to Wellington. Breakfast & Dinner included

Wellington at Leisure
After a short stroll to the cable-car we ascend to a superb vantage point. From here there is a tranquil walk around the Botanic Gardens before we rejoin the coach and journey to Mount Victoria for a spectacular view of the city. Continue to the world-renowned Te Papa Museum. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Breakfast included

Wellington - 'TranzCoastal' Train - Christchurch
This morning we join our cruise for a journey between the North and South Islands, renowned as one of the most scenic crossings in the world. Travel across Cook Strait and through the picturesque Marlborough Sounds to Picton. On arrival join the 'TranzCoastal' train for a scenic journey between mountain and sea travelling along a thin ledge of land pinned between the Pacific Ocean and rugged Kaikoura Ranges. Continue over the North Canterbury Plains to Christchurch, renowned as the ‘Garden City’ because of its numerous gardens and parks. Breakfast & Dinner included

Enjoy incredible scenery today as we leave this World Heritage-listed area. We travel over the Haast Pass and through part of Mt Aspiring National Park. Journey along the shores of beautiful Lakes Wanaka and Hawea to Arrowtown, an old gold mining settlement which was founded in 1862. Mt Cook - Christchurch to UK
Visit picturesque Lake Tekapo and view the tiny Church of the Good Shepherd. Leave the High Country behind and travel through Burkes Pass, cross the Rakaia River and cross the vast Canterbury Plains to Christchurch. Your tour concludes on arrival in Christchurch and transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK via Hong Kong or Los Angeles. Breakfast included.
